Dr. Griffin grew up in the Smiths Station area and is a 1988 graduate of Smiths Station High School. He graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He is the owner of Smiths Station Animal Hospital which he opened in 1998. With over 20 years of practice experience, Dr. Griffin appreciates the opportunity to enhance the special bond between people and their pets and is committed to providing the very best medical and surgical care in a compassionate and caring manner. Dr. Griffin and his wife Windy share their home with their daughter Carson, son Mason, their German Shorthair Pointer, Huck and English Springer Spaniel, Hazel. Dr. Griffin enjoys Auburn Football, outdoor activities, fitness & exercise, and traveling.

Dr. Shelton was born and raised in Southern Indiana, and dreamed of being a veterinarian since she was a child. After completion of her undergraduate degrees, she spent time teaching and practicing dental hygiene at the local university. She was also a veterinary technician and assistant for a total of 12 years before attending veterinary medical school. She obtained her veterinary degree from Purdue University, and practiced small animal medicine in Washington State for two years after graduation. She moved to this area in April 2018 to be closer to family. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, photography, painting, reading, and spending time with her husband and three dogs! She has three "children" (dogs): Yoshi (Shiba Inu), Dixie (Corgi), & Daisy (Mini Longhair Dachshund).

Dr. Teeples was raised in Tallassee, AL where she graduated from Tallassee High School in 1980. She went on to Auburn University to pursue her passion in veterinary medicine. With 30 years of experience, her love of animals has only compounded as she continues to work to provide the most outstanding care for her lifelong clients and her new ones. Dr. Teeples met her husband John while attending school at Auburn and they have two beautiful children, Sam and Emma. John is a local entrepreneur in the city of Columbus and both her children work in the construction industry in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Teeples enjoys hiking in Pine Mountain with her dog/sidekick Cinderella while her husband runs with their other two dogs, Kevin and Brenda.
